Cat & Fiddle Family Childcare, now a Level 2 QRIS state rated program, welcomes infant to school-age children to join our program.
The program offers a positive, nurturing climate with open communication. This safe, consistent home setting allows your child to quickly feel confident, encouraging them to explore the environment and be open to learning opportunities. Children's questions and interests act as a guide to emergent curriculum and teachable moments which are tied in with the MA Guidelines for Preschool Experiences to ensure a well-rounded educational experience. Children learn socialization skills; how to express themselves, respect for others varying abilities and the mechanics of cooperating in a group, and self-help skills, all which help to form a strong sense of self-esteem.
Owner, Michelle Leufstedt proves to be a career professional in family childcare by earning her Early Childhood Education degree with a distinction of highest honors from Phi Theta Kappa, from Quinsigamond Community College in 2010. In addition, in September 2010 she renewed her CDA, Child Development Associate from Washington, earned her 4th Universal Pre-kindergarten Program qualification and grant from Massachusetts as well as her Lead Teacher Certificate.
